Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using Hisabkiya at www.hisabkiya.in, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2. What Hisabkiya does

Hisabkiya is a web app for recording, categorising and reviewing your personal income and expenses, tracking a monthly budget, and exporting your records. Your data is saved in your own Google Drive.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google, so you need a valid Google account and must follow Google’s own terms. You are responsible for keeping your Google account and your devices secure.

4. Fair use

Please use Hisabkiya only for lawful, personal purposes. Do not:

• use it for anything illegal or unauthorised
• try to hack, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the app
• try to access anyone else’s account or data
• store passwords, card numbers, PINs or other sensitive credentials in it

5. Your data

The records you create belong to you. They are stored in your Google Drive, and you can export them as CSV or JSON, move them or delete them at any time. We claim no ownership of your data.

6. Not financial advice

Figures, budgets, “safe-to-spend” amounts and tips in the app are for your own tracking only. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Check important numbers yourself.

7. No warranty

Hisabkiya is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or completely secure, and you use it at your own risk. Please keep your own backups of anything important.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hisabkiya and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost or incorrect data, arising from your use of the app or being unable to use it.

9. Changes to the service

We may change, pause or stop all or part of Hisabkiya at any time. If the service shuts down, your data stays in your Google Drive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Hisabkiya after an update, the new terms apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
